Our Method
Why Pilates, Yoga & Sculpt?
At Core-Centrix Movement, Pilates is our foundation. We believe in a well rounded approach to movement that builds strength, fosters balance, and supports every stage of your wellness journey. That’s why we thoughtfully integrate classical Pilates, yoga, and sculpt. Three powerful disciplines that work in harmony to support your body and expand your potential.
Pilates builds deep core strength, improves alignment, and cultivates control. It’s a method that not only transforms how you move inside the studio—but enhances how you live, work, and move through daily life.
Yoga complements Pilates by encouraging flexibility, breath awareness, and a calm, grounded presence. It helps restore the body, prevent injury, and create space—physically and mentally.
Sculpt adds an energizing layer of intensity. Using props, repetition, and rhythm, sculpt classes build endurance, tone, and overall stamina, challenging the muscles in new ways while supporting functional strength.
Together, these practices create a balanced, intelligent movement system—where each discipline enhances the others. Whether you’re building stability, increasing mobility, or amplifying your strength, you’ll find they all work better—together.

Why Privates?
Private Pilates sessions offer a uniquely focused and personalized experience. This is ideal for those recovering from injury, managing physical limitations, curious about exploring other apparatus, or simply looking to deepen their practice.
Whether you’re new to Pilates, or a seasoned mover, one-on-one instruction allows for precise adjustments, customized programming, and hands on guidance tailored to your body’s unique needs. It’s especially beneficial for rehabilitative work, offering a safe, supportive environment to rebuild strength, restore mobility, and reduce pain through thoughtful, low-impact movement.
But privates aren’t just for recovery, they’re also a powerful tool for refinement. Sometimes, it’s the slightest shift or cue that unlocks a new level of connection. In these sessions, you’ll have the space to fine-tune your technique, explore subtle nuances, and cultivate a deeper awareness of how your body moves and responds.
This is where the mind-body connection truly comes alive, where every movement becomes intentional, informed, and empowering.
Our Heated Movement Room
At Core Centrix Movement, our yoga and sculpt classes take place in a gently heated space powered by Far Infrared Radiant Heat—a modern, safe, and therapeutic approach to movement that enhances your practice from the inside out.

What is Infrared Radiant Heat
Unlike traditional forced air systems that blow hot air into the room—often creating a stuffy or overwhelming atmosphere, far-infrared heat warms the body directly rather than heating the air. It works much like the sun: electromagnetic waves transfer warmth to your body and surrounding surfaces, offering deep, comforting heat without extreme temperatures.
This form of heat is perfectly safe—in fact, hospitals use infrared technology to keep premature infants warm and healthy. We chose Far-Infrared heating because it aligns with what we value most: movement that’s mindful, safe, and genuinely supportive of your body’s natural rhythms.
How It Works
As your body absorbs far-infrared waves
Cells gently vibrate, triggering the release of toxins, fats, and impurities into the bloodstream
These are naturally expelled through sweat, supporting detoxification at the cellular level
Muscles and internal organs are safely and evenly warmed, reducing tension and improving flexibility
The cardiovascular system responds by increasing heart rate, blood flow, and metabolic activity, leading to a range of health benefits

The Importance of Authentic Equipment
At Core Centrix Movement, every piece of equipment in our studio was carefully selected with intention, respect, and love for the craft.
We chose authentic, classical Pilates equipment not because it’s the easiest or trendiest, but because it’s true to the original method. The proportions, spring tension, and handcrafted design aren’t random; they’re what make the work feel balanced, supportive, and deeply connected to your body’s natural rhythm.
It’s more than equipment; it’s part of the conversation between your mind and body. It offers feedback, teaches precision, and honors the lineage that shaped this practice into what it is today.
In a world of modern variations, we stay rooted in the original because we believe that’s where the true magic and method live.
