FAQ
What Should I Wear?
- Grippy socks are required for all Pilates classes.
- Wear fitted, movement-friendly clothing (no zippers, buttons, or long dangling jewelry). (Sounds crazy, however, we have seen jewelry get stuck!)
- Long hair must be tied up for safety on the apparatus.
What Should I Bring?
- Only water is permitted in exercise rooms (no glass bottles are allowed).
- We provide towels if desired.
How Early Should I Arrive Before My Class? Where Do I Park?
- Arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to settle in. Parking is available in the front and back of the studio.
- Late arrivals more than 5 minutes past class time may not be permitted to join.
- Please silence your phone and remove your shoes before entering.
Am I Allowed To Film Myself During Class?
Do you have showers or restrooms?
We have two clean, spacious restrooms available for client use. There are no showers.
How do I book a class or private session?
You can book group classes directly through our website or mobile app—quick, easy, and accessible anytime.
To inquire about booking a private session, we’d love to connect with you personally. Please call the studio so we can learn more about your goals and match you with the best instructor for your needs.
Can I take all three modalities (Pilates, yoga, sculpt) as a beginner?
Yes! All three modalities—Pilates, yoga, and sculpt—are beginner-friendly and can be adapted to your level. Our instructors are trained to offer clear guidance, purposeful modifications, and support throughout class, whether it’s your first time or your hundredth.
That said, if you’re new to movement or recovering from an injury, we recommend starting with a private session or a slower-paced group Pilates or yoga class to help you build a strong foundation.
We’re here to help you feel confident, capable, and connected in any class you choose.
What’s the difference between group classes and private sessions?
Group classes offer a dynamic, community-focused experience led by our instructors in a small-group setting. They follow a set structure, with modifications provided as needed, and are great for building consistency and energy through shared movement.
Private sessions are completely personalized. These one-on-one experiences are tailored to your unique goals, body, and needs—whether you’re recovering from an injury, new to movement, or seeking to deepen your practice. You’ll receive hands-on support, custom programming, and focused guidance throughout.
Both formats offer value in different ways—and many clients enjoy a mix of both!
Can children or teens attend classes?
Yes, absolutely. We welcome young movers, though class type and format may depend on their age and experience.
For children under 14, we recommend starting with a private session to ensure proper support and engagement. Teens aged 14 and above are welcome in select group classes, subject to instructor approval. Our priority is to create a safe, positive environment where younger clients can build confidence, strength, and body awareness.
If you’re unsure where to start with your child or teen, we’re happy to guide you!
Do you accommodate clients with injuries or physical limitations?
Yes—we specialize in it.
Our instructors are highly trained in supporting clients with a wide range of physical needs. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery, or navigating mobility limitations, we’ll meet you where you are and create a path forward that feels safe, supportive, and effective.
We recommend starting with a private session so we can assess your needs and build a customized plan together.
Do you offer prenatal or postnatal classes?
Yes. We love supporting expecting and new mothers at Core Centrix Movement.
If you’re new to movement or Pilates, we recommend starting with private sessions to learn the modifications and build a strong foundation. If you’re experienced and cleared by your healthcare provider, you’re welcome to join any of our all-level classes—just let your instructor know you’re pregnant or postpartum so we can make any necessary adjustments.
Our approach emphasizes breath, core connection, and low-impact support to help you feel strong and centered at every stage.
